
Jim Corbett National Park
Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park in Nainital district, Corbett has the glory of being India’s oldest and most prestigious National Park.
Fauna : Royal Bengal Tiger or Indian Tiger, Rhesus Macaques, Langurs, Leopards, Jungle Cat, Leopard Cat, Fishing Cat, Dhole (Wild dog), Jackals, Red Fox, Sloth Bear and Black Bear.
Flora : Sal, semal, dhak, kharpat, sissoo, khair, khingan, bakli, bel, ber, bamboo, rohini, pula, khingan and kuthber.

Nanda Devi National Park
Nanda Devi a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, established in 1982, is a national park situated around the peak of Nanda Devi (7816 m) . It was renamed to Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Parks in 2005.
Fauna : Himalayan musk deer, mainland serow and Himalayan tahr, snow leopard and Himalayan black bear.
Flora : Some 312 floral species that include 17 rare species have been found here. Fir, birch, rhododendron, juniper, Ramani, alpine, prone mosses and lichens are the main flora.

Gangotri National Park
Gangotri National Park is a national park in Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand in India, covering about 2,390 km sq (920 sq mi).
Fauna : Snow leopard, Asian black bear, brown bear, musk deer, blue sheep, Himalayan tahr, Himalayan monal, Koklass and Himalayan snowcock, pheasants, partridges, doves, and pigeons.
Flora : Western Himalayan subalpine conifer forests at lower elevations and Western Himalayan alpine shrub and meadows at higher elevations. Vegetation consist of chir, pine, deodar, fir, spruce, oak and rhododendrons.

Rajaji National Park
It is an Indian national park and tiger reserve that encompasses the Shivaliks, near the foothills of the Himalayas. The park is spread over 820 km²., and three districts of Uttarakhand: Haridwar, Dehradun and Pauri Garhwal.
Fauna : Asian elephant, Bengal tiger, Leopard Jungle, cat, Striped hyena, Goral, Indian hare, Sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, King cobra, Jackal Barking, deer, Wild boar,Indian langur, Indian porcupine, Monitor lizard Python
Flora : Amaltas, Rohini, Palash, Shisham, Sal, Sandan, Khair, Arjun, Baans, Semul, Chamaror, Aonla , Ber, Chilla, Bel, Kachnar

Govind Pashu Vihar National Park
The park was established on 1 March 1955, and is situated in the Uttarkashi district, in the higher reaches of the Garhwal Himalayas and named after a prominent Indian freedom fighter and politician Govind Ballabh Pant.
Fauna : Snow Leopard, Brown Bear, Musk Deer, Western Tragopan, Indian Porcupine and Golden Eagle.
Flora : Plant species like Rhododendron, Oak and tropical Euphorbia scrub can be found in abundance
